1. Agreement and publisher
These Terms apply to your use of OmniPrism Studio, published by Yousef Yamin, trading as YYamin. The publisher’s address is Yousef Yamin, Les monties, 733 Rte de Bernet, Chélan 32140, France (FR).
By installing or using the application, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the application.
2. Software licence
Subject to these Terms and any applicable Store conditions, YYamin grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use OmniPrism Studio on devices you control for lawful purposes. You may not resell, sublicense, rent, reverse engineer, or redistribute the application except where applicable law or an included open-source licence permits it.
Your documents, recordings, scans, exports, and other material remain yours. OmniPrism Studio does not acquire ownership of your content merely because you import or process it.
3. Store purchases, trials, and refunds
Purchase price, currency, taxes, trial availability, eligibility, promotions, and included features are displayed by the relevant Store and may vary by region. No fixed global price is stated in these Terms.
Microsoft or Apple, as applicable, handles payment, Store account, purchase confirmation, entitlement, and refund processes under its own terms and policies. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights, including rights relating to faulty or non-conforming digital content.
Where the product is offered as a one-time or lifetime entitlement, that entitlement means access to the applicable version or features stated by the Store; it does not promise unlimited future features, platforms, or model availability unless the Store description says so.
4. Local AI, models, and evidence
OmniPrism Studio may use local models for OCR, transcription, search, reranking, and query interpretation. These features are tools for finding and reviewing source material, not a substitute for professional judgment or verification.
AI output can be incomplete, misclassified, or inaccurate. You are responsible for checking results against the original document, recording, image, or other source. Model and open-source notices are available on the AI and third-party notices page.
5. Updates and availability
We may release updates, security fixes, compatibility changes, or model changes. Features may depend on your hardware, operating system, installed models, and available storage. We do not guarantee that every file type, model, or feature will remain available indefinitely.
Keep backups of important source material and exported libraries. The application is not a substitute for your own backup strategy.
6. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, subject to applicable European Union law. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory protections that apply under the law of the country where you habitually reside.
Any dispute will be brought before a court competent under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer jurisdiction or venue rights, including any right to bring proceedings in your country of residence where those rights apply. The Store’s terms govern Store transactions and payment or refund processes; these Terms govern use of OmniPrism Studio itself.
For consumers, the governing-law clause is subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules. French law is the publisher’s chosen contract law; applicable EU conflict-of-law and consumer-jurisdiction rules may preserve additional protections or forums for consumers in other countries.
